Open textile workshop at Kollektiv Kaorle
Hosted by Kollektiv Karole in Vienna, the Other Market textile workshop continued. The Other Market, conceived as a textile workshop and an open experiment, emerged from an engagement with structures of the collective appropriation of space. With the continuation of the workshop series, exchange and collective handcraft is understood as a place-making and architectural practice. Sewing together becomes a form of collective reflection. For this workshop a more compact version of the original reseach publication was created. Together we discussed, sketched, experimented and stitched.
